Password will be reset to the default password from B.I.T. Temp Password will be sent via phone, text to mobile phone or email. Once received you would need to follow the following steps:

1. Go to the internet in the address bar and type in the following address: https://bit.vi.gov 
2. Click on where it say: Change Password
3. In the Sign area put in your user name: FirstName.LastName "Example" Joe.Doe
4. In the Password area type in the temp password that was sent to you via phone call or text then hit login.
5. If you never register for this service you would need   to setup you security question. If your already a register member then   you can skip this step.
6. Look at the top left of the and you will see Change Password Tab. Click on Change Password.
7. It will ask you to enter the old password which is the   password that was given to you. Then You enter your New Password &   Confirm Password which would be the password of your choose.
8 Once you hit change password then it then you can go to the following address: http://outlook.com/vi.gov to sign in with your new password.
