When using the web version of Outlook, you have the option to decide what to do with emails that have a read receipt request. These settings help you to manage how read receipts are handled.
Manage Incoming Read Receipt Requests In Outlook For Web
1. Open Outlook.com/vi.gov in your web browser (i.e. Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Google Chrome)
2. Click on the settings icon at the top-right corner and select View all Outlook settings.
3. On the newly opened screen, select the option that reads Message handling. It has several other email handling options as well.
4. Scroll down to the Read receipts section.
5. See 3 options that let you decide how read receipts should be handled.
6. Select an option from the list, and click Save below.
