An example of the "time being incorrect" is when you receive or send a message and the timestamp on messages show the wrong time. This is due to your Outlook having the wrong time zone configured.


To fix this problem, you need to set the correct time zone on Outlook.com/vi.gov 


Once you're successfully signed in...


1. Click on the "Wheel icon" (top right) - A pop-up should appear.

2. In the "Search Outlook setting" search box, 

    - Type "language and region"

    - Click the results option "language and region"

3. You should be in the "Language and time" screen

    - Under "Current time zone", select "(UTC: -04:00) Atlantic Time (Canada)"

4. Check the box that says "When I change time zones, ask me if I want to update my time zone"

5. Click "OK".
